If we wanted to develop the best Sonic Toothbrush in the industry we knew there would be a lot of research involved.
We first looked at products that were already in market and what dentists had to say about them. From there we sculpted iGlow and tried our best in include all the things dentists love to bring you the best Sonic Toothbrush.
Dentists recommend we brush our teeth in an up and down motion, most Sonic Toothbrushes surprisingly did not have this ability, they only vibrated. Lithium batteries inside of heavy handles were also causing problems, because they were so heavy dentist found that users started to use more pressure while brushing their teeth and as a result, damaged their enamel.
We also spent time researching online reviews and saw that a lot of consumers felt like they were paying more money for these brushes as they would die or not recharge within 6-8 months.
Upon trying to figure out why, we found that the majority of Sonic Toothbrushes are not waterproof, they are water resistant. Though these may sound similar, water resistant products still let water in overtime and eventually corrodes the battery which causes the brush to stop working or charging within the first few months of usage.
From those consumer reviews we also found that the harsh vibrations on Sonic Toothbrushes combined with the stiff bristles ended up hurting those with sensitive teeth and gums.
